OBITUARY
ARTHUR ROBINS
The late* Arthur Robins, who was recently accidentally killed at Petone was a returned soldier of World War 1. Born in Christchurch 63 years ago he resided there for many years until he moved to Masterton from which town he enlisted for service overseas with the N.Z.E.F.
The late Arthur Robins was a very popular baritone singer and his musical abilities were much appreciated in concert parties whilst he was in camp. He sailed with the 23rd Reinforcements to the N.Z. Rifle Brigade, and served with the Division. After returning to New Zealand both he and his wife took an active part in local R.S.A. affairs and for many years he was on the executive committee. Mrs Robins is still an active member of the womens section of the R.S.A.
He is survived by his wife, son and daughter — Mr. Ellis Robins R.N.
Z.A.F., and Miss Audrey Robins, V.A.D. with the New Zealand Division in Italy.
