PAUL SCHRAMM

. Paul Schramm, the eminent pianist opens the concert season 1945 at Wesley Hall on Wednesday, March 21st with a glorious and most entertaining and amusing programme. Besides Beethoven's Waldstein Sonata and Schubert. Impromptus, the programme consists of dances arid syncopation of English, American and Latin American origin. Pieces from William Walton's famous Facade Suite, Billy Mayerl's jazz, a fantasy on Carmen and other compositions are the highlights of the| programme. The artist had with this two full houses in Wellington and a capacity audience in Auckland last December. Never has such programme been given yet in New Zealand. We may look forward to a special treat. The Bechstein Grand is kindly provided by Charles Begg and Co. Box Plan opens at Ackroyd's Bookshop on Monday 12th inst.
