MEMBERSHIP We are approaching the end of the first quarter of the year and th? financial membership for this year has already passed the one thousand mark. There are approximately 400 of last year's members still unfinancial and these members will be receiving an account for their arrears in the near future. Recently numbers of men have returned from overseas to enter essential industry. Quite a number of these men are doubtful as to their eligibility for membership. Any man on indefinite leave without pay is entitled to membership. As some difficulty is found by Petone members in contacting the secre tary, arrangements have now been made whereby the secretary will be in attendairce'■ at Bonthorne's Iron mongery jiM Petone every Tuesday afternoon r Trom 2 to 4.
