A ithough the match between Billie Bit.wn and Popeye Thomas was not so spectacular as that between Souihee and McCann, it was a good light. Apropos the comment that a match between Clarrie Gordon of Auckland and young Jim Griffin, this writer thinks that Griffin, although a long left .specialist, will need much more than that to trounce Gordon who has a repertoire of punches and brains behind them all.
