1 phies won during the season look place recently at the Masonic Hall, Petone, when a very pieasant evening was spent in dancing and musical items, rendered by friends of the club, which were greatly appreciated by all. Vice-presidents and members and their friends and members of kindred clubs were well represented. uuring the evening, Mrs Fullford the club president, 111 a happy little speech, welcomed the visitors and introduced Mr. Nash, the club's patron, who congratulated the club 011 its excellent display of trophies \vhich it was his pleasure to present to the successful competitors, and wished the club every success for the 1944 season. The following trophies were won during tiie season just completed: A Grade Championship: Mr. Sundholm; runner-up, Mrs. Nightingale. B Grade Championship: Mr. Prebble; runner-up, Mr. Galbraith. A Grade Aggregate: Mr. Hudholm; runner-up, Mr. Staples. B Grade Aggregate: Mr. Thompson; runner-up, Miss McPhee. Bull Aggregate.-—-A Grade: Mr Suinihoini. B Grade: Mr. Prebble. Hagan Cup: Mr. Sundholm. First Competition.—A- Grade: Mrs. Fullford; runner up, Mrs. Nightingale. B Grade: Mrs. Hopkins; runner-up, Mrs. Kean. Second Competition.—A Grade: Mr. Nightingale; runner-up, Mrs. Nightingale. B Grade: Mr. Prebble; runner-up, Mrs. Kean. .Third Competition.-—A Grade: Mr. Sundholm; runner-up, Mrs. Nightingale. B Grade: Mr. Gaudin; runner-up, Mr. Thompson. Fourth Competition.—A Grade: Mr. Staples; runner-lip, Mr. Sundholm. B Grade: Mr. Galbraith; runuer-up, Mr. Phipps. Fifth .Competition.—A Grade: Mrs. Fullford; runner-up, Mr. Sundholm. JB Grade: MisS McPhee; run-ner-up, Mrs. I-larding. Sixth ' Competition.—A Grade: Mr. Staples; runner-up, Mrs. Nightingale. B Grade: Mrs. Harding; runner-up, Mr. Phipps, Most improved shot for the season's learners: Mrs. Harding. The own start competition was won by Mr. Routley; with Mr. Staples in second place, and Mr. Sundholm third. The members of the club provided a sumptuous supper, the evening being brought to a close with the singing of "Auld Lang Syne" and "God Save the King.',' The club wishes to thank all their vice-presidents for donations to the trophy fund, and all friends who helped to make the season such a successful one.
