HUTT SWIMMING CLUB
The 1943 season was officially opened on Saturday last by the mayor (Mr. J. W. Andrews), who congratulated the club on its past record, and wished all success for the future.
Club nights will again be held each week on Tuesday evening at 7 o'clock, and water polo practice on Sunday mornings at 9 o'clock, to which all members are asked to attend. Three teams —two men's and one ladies'—have been entered for Centre competition.
Several new members have been admitted to the club and a welcome will be given to servicemen and any intending members, at all functions.
