RESUSCITATION TESTS

The following members of Griffin and Sons' Unit of tlie E.P.S. have successfully passed the Resuscitation Test of the Royal Life Saving Society:—Monica Curtis, ivy Sharrock, Winifred Beban, Ellen Giddons, Margaret Anderson. Freda Tombs, Iris Gordon, Winl'red Glastonbury, Dorothy Walker, Marjorie Cox, Doris Lane, Francis Mailman, Dorice Beard, Beverley Mailman and John Soulsby, who also acted as instructor. Mr. Richardson, the examiner, said this was a very eliicient class and reflected credit on itself and the instructor. This is the first firm in the llutt Valley that has presented its own unit" for this valuable w r ork. The Resuscitation Certificate has also been awarded to the following pupils: — Waiwhetu School (Instructor: Miss Maynard).—Mavis S. Gilbe'-t----son, Daphne M. Woodrow, Estelle N. Smith, Regina M.
