Friday next, September ISth is the day when the Hutt Valley public will have an opportunity of making purchases with no coupons required. This .special Sale of Work iias been organised by the Petone Ladies' Auxiliary of the Hutt Valley Y.M.CI.A. All the well stocked stalls, which include children's garments, Christinas <<1/ Ls, cakes, produce. etc., will be displayed tor convenient buying, so save your coupons and save your money by buying at this .Sale of Work. Mr. H. Green I ''(deputy mayor of I'etone), will officially open proceedings at 2.30 p.m Doors will open at 2 p.m. The Sale will be open until '10 p.m. Special attention has been given to the entertainment side. Competitions and games with good prizes, musical items, dancing by liny tots, and in the evening an informal dance will be held. Remember the day-—Friday next. The Time 2 p.m. The Place— Y.M.C.A. Cuba Street. The bus slops at the door.
