The King George is kept bus t \ these days with arrangements f'oi their patrons' good cheer and alsc the children's special programme* which are being arranged during the holidays. To-night anil to-morrow light will be the last screenings of that great film "The Tree of Liberty." This features Cary Grant, so much in the news now as the. husband of the Woolworth's Heiress Barbara Hutton. that face actress Martha Scott and Sir Cedric Hardwieke. This is tlie film version of Elizabeth Page's great, novel and has been received everywhere with packed houses. On Friday at the Shoppers Session at 5 p.ni, "Topper Returns" will be the feature. This is one of those series of comedies which has caused all »w Zealand to laugh. Oil Saturday will be the third of the grand children's programmes presented with the supports that children love, such as I'opeye, Pluto the Pup, Mickey .Mouse, Donald Duck, etc. Coming Tuesday next is "Tlx* Bugle Sounds" with Wallace Beery. * ♦ • «
