Ki:i? CROSS SUCTION The women's task of establishing aid posts throughout. the district is steadily progressing, thanks lo the efforts of willing helpers. It is l'oiuul necessary, however, to appeal to the residents for equipment, and helpers. The personnel needs strengthening in all departments and it. is hoped that any women who can, will link uy with this unit, it is realised that should an emergency arise there would be many people willing: lo help sick and wounded, but it will be appreciated that an organised group would be more effective than and unorganised one, and that, the more helpers there are available the less work will fall on all. There are four departments in which helpers can assist in time of emergency, namely, nursing, dietary, laundry, and clerical; volunteers would be posted to the aid post nearest their home. Ladies interested in offering their services could make l'urther enquiries from the organiser. Miss, E. W. Lancaster, or the secretary. Mrs. A. C. Stevenson.
