<§> ——— The first meeting ol' the year of the liOwer Hutt branch of tlie League of Mothers will be held in the Horticultural Mali, Laings Road on Thursday. March 12th at 2 p.m. At, personal invitations are not being posted this year, would all members please accept this invitation to be present. Messrs H. Ernest 1-eighton will hold an auction sale at 38 Pretoria Street on Friday next. The contents of the home wut be offered, including carpets and household furniture; also a Hillnian Minx car ii good running order. Through the courtesy of the N.Z. Wool Council, the N.Z. Women's Institute will conduct a demonstration on spinning at the Wesley Hall on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon next. Mrs Ina Allan will speak on "Wool into Fashion." All women interested will be welcome.
