SOLDIERS' PARCELS
TINS AND HANDKERCHIEFS REQUIRED To-morrow, the fourth Thursday in the month, is packing day for soldiers' parcels*. In order to fulfil its quota, Lower Hutt must supply 700 parcels every three months and, as this entails the usage of 2000 tins, an appeal is made for further supplies of these. Handkerchiefs, made from old material and ready to be dyed khaki, are always required. Gifts of tinned goods or cash donations will ilso be most acceptable, and may be left at the Patriotic Rooms from 10 i.m. to-morrow.
