METHODIST LADIES' GUILD

to mark the opening of the new church parlour, the Ladies' Guild of the Methodist Church entertained members and friends on Thursday afternoon last. The Rev. F. J. Parker dedicated the new room, and thanked all who had helped in any way.

Solos and duets were rendered by Mdsdames Robsob and McCallum; and Mesdames L. Muir and Thompson contributed elocutionary items. Mi's. Paton acted as accompanist, and Mrs. W. Hall presented each of the performers with a floral Bpray. This executive of the guild served aftjprnoon
