8 OLD SCOUTS' KB-UNION DINNER Invitations have been issued for an Old Scouts' re-union dinner arranged by the Hutt Valley and Bays Country District. This is to take place on Monday, October 3rd at 7.15 p.m., in the Horticultural Hall. The Dominion Chief Scout, His Excellency, the Viscount Galway, has signified his willingness "to be present. Those eligible to attend arc all exCubs, Scouts, Rover-Scouts, and Scoutcrs of any Group within the District, as well as any from other districts or overseas, now 'resident within this distrist; and who will have made the Scout Promise. The minimum age is sixteen years. Present Scout?rs and Hover Scouts of Hutt Valley ana Bsjs naturally are included. In addition, each Group Committee has been invited to send two male representatives. The District Committee will also be present. Also the Old Scouts from Wellington Metropolitan Area are joining the local people in this function, which promises to be a very large one. Groups have been requested to send in lists of 01(1 Scouts on their Tolls, and this has resulted in a great many names being received. It is expected of course, that inevitably some must be missed, and this appeal is addressed to tliem in particular. Any names sent in promptly to the District Office, Hutt Valley Boy Scouts Woburn Road, together with brief particulars of service, will be added to the invitation list. Depots have been arranged where tickets for the dinner may be obtained. Full particulars of these depots are' included on the invitations.
