• The Annual General Meeting of the Hutt Valley Y.M.C.A. Cricket Club was held in the. Y.M.C.A. Rooms,, Petonc, on Monday, September sth. Mr A. C. Edwards presided over a good attendance of members. The Annual Report showed that the Club had enjoyed a very successful season last year, finishing third in the 'C' Grade Championship and winning the special competition held at the close of the season. The names of several prospective members were handed in and a strong team for the coming season is well assured. The club is well equipped with material and the financial position of the club .proved to be sound. The election of officers resulted as follows: —Patron: Hon. W. Nash, M.l. President, C. E.
