MISSIONARY MEETING

Members of the 'girls' auxiliary of the Presbyterian Women's Missionary Union met at St. Stephen's Manse. Miss Doris Winter presided. A number of visitors from the St. Andrew's branch, Wellington, were welcomed, and there was an exchange of ideas concerning the work. The president, Mrs. J. Lopdcll, spoke interestingly ■ of the wo'rk of Henry Martin, an early missionary in India. Lower Hutt members displayed garments and babies' woollies they had made for missions in India and China. ■
