ST. JAMES'S GARDEN PARTY
The annual garden party in connection with St. James's Church to have been held in the grounds of "Woburn" last (Saturday afternoon, had to be post poned owing to the heavy rain. As previously arranged, in the event of. adverse weather, a sale of goods was held in the church hall. The parishioners and many others attended in l,arge numbers and a most enjoyable and social afternoon was and all the stalls did excellent business ( It is hoped that the weather will be more propitious next Saturday when the garden fete and children's pageant will be held in Mrs. Eiddiford's grounds. There will also be stalls, afternoon tea and games on the lawn,
