WAIWHETU METHODIST MISSIONARY AUXILIARY.
At tlio monthly meeting of the WaiAvhetu Methodist Missic.iary Auxiliary which took place recently several remits, to be submitted to the ronference at Auckland in September, Ave re discussed and Mrs. Ihissell was appointed delegate to the conference. The Kev. Thornley then occupied the chair for the annual meeting of tiio Auxiliary. The report of the year's activities shewed that in spite cf the loss of several members, interest had been maintained, and the linancial returns equalled those of last year. The retiring president. Mrs. I'. M. Kussell, expressed appreciation of the officers and 'members during the year. Mrs Macky AVas elected president tt/r the ensuing year. Mr. Thornley, on behalf of the ladies, thanked Mrs. Russell for her Avork for the Auxiliaryr for the past four year. Afternoon tea Avas served by Mrs. Benfell.
