LABOUR PARTY DANCE

There was a large attendance at the Birch Street Hall on Saturday evening, | when the local branch of the New Zea« land Labour Party held their usual weekly dance. The hall lias been, decorate;]', the colour scheme being in | blue and gold tones. The curtains at Ihe windows and at the back of the stag« were ot these shades, and streamers of the same shade created a .pleas* ing effect. Mr. J. Colman was master of ceremonies and Forrester's orchestra supplied the music. The committee comprised Mesdainea \V. Jnrvie, floral georgette; E. Cocker, blue satin and lace; Messrs E. Odium, W.
