LAND AT TAITA
Keferenice to the acquisition of land at Taita and Nae Nae for housing and railway purposes was .made at a meeting of the Makara-Hutt Valley pro* vincial executive of the New Zealand Farmers' Union. The following resolution was carried! "That this executive requests the Gov* eminent to state at the earliest pos* sible date its intentions regarding the Taita -and Nae Nao properties cover* ed by the housing and railway pro 4 posals, as .the p-resent position of Tincertainty is causing undue worry and financial loss to the farmers and anar' ket^ gardeners concerned."
