EVENINGS FOR BRIDE TO BE.
Hiss Sybil Munro, wliosc marriage to Mr. W. Nicholson, of Welington, will take .plaee shortly, was the honoured guest at .two evenings recently. On Monday, Mrs. T.- Cufll was the hostess at a gift evening for Miss Munro. Mrs. Cuff wore blue niarocain, and Miss Munro green floral crepe. The drawingroom decorations were of lovely red and pink roses. After opening her parcels of linen ankJ crystal, Miss Munro thanked the guests for their gifts. Those present were Misses Glory Hadwin, Belle Paton, Violet Munro, Nancy Dowland, and Margaret Dyer. On Tuesday evening Mrs. Henderson and Mrs. Doran were Miss Munro's hostesses. The bride-to-be was presented, with a bouquet o,f pink and red roses, and the drawing-room was decorated) with purple rhododendrons and roses. Miss Munro again received gifts for her home, for which she thanked the donors. The guests were: Mesdames A. J. Doran, Harrison, and Misses S. Doyle, 0. Armstrong, A. Doran, H. Doran, E. Munro, T. Penny, L. Smith, V. Muro, J. Swift, B. Snow, E. Hogg, A. Smith, Joy and Dclas Doran.
