MILITARY BALL.
All those who- attended the Military ball held in King George Theatre last year, will recollect what an enjoyable evening they had at that function and will welcome the fact that a function of a like nature has been to take place towards the end of September. The 17th Battery, N.Z.A., ' D Company, The Wellington Regiment, RjS.A., and Legion of Frontiersmen, will combine in the effort and a public meeting (see advert, elsewhere in this issue) has been called, so that citizens who are willing to assist may be added to the committee.
