PIGEON RACING
The Pot-one Homing Pigeon Club flew 1 their iirst nice for young birds on ( February 1G from Palmorston North, an | air line distance of 71 miles. The birds I were kindly liberated by the station* j master in fine weather. The birds had to J face a strong southerly wind,- which j made it very hard for them for their first raee.
