MONTHLY MEETING. There was a good attendance at the J November meeting of the Taita Women's Institute presided over by Mrs. S. Craven. Conveners were chosen for s the singing, dramatic and gardening l' circles and arrangements made for the i' Christmas tree to be held in Mr. Jackson's hall on December S, Members 1 were reminded that the December meetJ ing would be a gift afternoon for the Christmas tree. The delegates gave a report on the recent conference. (' After a dainty afternoon tea had been served Miss Young gave an instructive demonstration on the making i of moccasins and' was the recipient of t a dainty posv. An enjoyable afternoon concluded with the singing of the s National Anthem.
