KNOX LADIES' GUILD.
SOCIAL AxTJAKNOON. A very enjoyable afternoon was held in connection with Knox Ladies' Guild last Thursday when between 50 and 6U ladies met for a social afternoon. Mrs Wilson presided and took the opportunity of thanking all for their help and patronage in making the 1934 Cherry Blossom sale so successful and intimating that in response to numerous requests a garden party would be held in December featuring Christmas goods. Thanks were extended to Mrs Barry for the kind offer of her grounds. A dainty aftemon tea was dispensed by the hostesses followed by games and recitation by Mrs. Henderson.
