LODGE NEWS
Star of Petono Kebekah Lodge, No. 45, 1.0.0. F. ,held its regular meeting recently in the Benefit Entertainers' Hall, Sis G. Joiner presiding. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. One sister was reported sick and ill hospital. Correspondence • was read and received and invitations were accepted. A number of members promised to attend the functions. Previous tabled letters were finalised. Two committees were elected. A membership and reinstatement A team was selected to play O-Kiwi-Iti Rebekah Lodge for the Cribbage Shield on Wednesday. 9th May. A guessing competition was held and Sis. M. Bargh was the winner. A report on the play of the first round of the tourney for the U.F.S. Shield was received. Lodge routine was then concluded and members spent a pleasant eveninjg doing puzzles. Sis. Westrup was first and Sis Joiner second,. The next mooting is on Kith May starting at 7 o'clock.
