SUNDAY READING.
PRAYER
"Prayer is not mere asking for things; it is the art of making a friend •f God, of turning to Him when we canj to seek counsel, or to give thank*, or to talk matters over with Him. And as you walk the streets, between «ne duty as you lay it down,' and the next as you turn to it, however rushed and hurried you may be, you can do that, yes, and would do it, if you really loved Him." (Rev. Bower Black).
Lord teach us how to pray,
THE OHUECH AND UNEMPLOY
