A PICNIC IDEA
AN EASY WAY WITH TBUIT
AND JELLY. '
It. is not always an easy matter to provide a sufficient quantity of fruit or drink refreshment at a picnic. And fruit is very awkward and 'heavy to carry, too. Here is a good 'idea. Buy some cardboard picnic cups—they are not very expensive, and are usually about tk« size of «. iunabler; Half ftll these with quarters/ of orange, or in fa«t, any fruit that is in season, apple, pea^ slices of bananas, pineapplo. Make some lemon, jelly, lot it cool a little, and then pour over the fruit in. each eu,p, filling lap to tie biim. -' ■ '■". _... ~ ,_ ' ■■_ ".. When Hlie jjelly sets and is quite hard you will -find the fruit salads quite easy to carry. Even when turned upside,'down the fruit will not cotde out. In this wayr onus caw ju^Vajrout. take twice the quantity: J6£ 'Sruit^ as in ike •ordinary way, and it .is inu6h :more eajoyable to be; eaten like this out of •floors, as there is no bother of pairing or of soiling the. hands;
