A boy of seven is not too young to understand how far sixpence a week will go for the-'purchase of sweets, marbles and, maybe, his weekly comic newspaper. If boys and girls attending school - asre given a sum of money at regular1 intervals with the understanding that ea ao account will it be supplemented they will settle down and make the money provide for their wants. They will have to think and plan and, besides getting as good value for their money as they can, they will learn self- ' itaaial and self-reliance and will weigh tie quality and utility of what they fnurehaee.
