RECITAL BY MRS ISABEL HALLIGAN'S PUPILS.
There was not a spare seat in St. James's Hall .on Monday night wben students of Miss Isabel Halligan gave their annuul recital. The programme covered a wide range, including as it dioV students of all ages, and plays both classical and humorous. The costumes were most charming and the recital generally of a high order. In addition to three plays there, were songs dances and recitations, by individual pupils, which, evidenced much careful preparation,- and were received by the audience with great enthusiasm. The .stage, with its blue drapings and trellis work made a gay setting for the performers.
Mrs MeCUrk was the aceompaniste and Mr. It. Price stage manager.
