WILFORD SUNDAY SCHOOL.
The Wilford Sunday School (Church of Christ) observed its first anniversary on Sunday last, with special services in the afternoon and evening. The services were &eW in tne Wilford Public School. . A choir of over 50 voices rendered special anniversary songs under the baton of Evangelist W." M. Garner. Mr. W. S. Lowe, superintendent of the school, presided, with Miss Grace TJsmar at the piano The afternoon service, which was the more largely attended, saw over 100 parents and friends gathered together. Mr. W. G-. Carpenter, Minister of Vivian Street Church of Christ, better known as "Uncle George 7' of 2YA., { was the speaker. He gave an interesting talk on "Snakes" and exhibited t&e skin of a 14ft boa constrictor whicli had been shot on the mission field in Southern Bhodesia. During the afternoon Mr. Carpenter also the prizes to the Sunday School scholars. The evening service again saw the children eager for action, and a good congregation of interested friends. Evangelist W. M. Garner, Minister of the Queens Road Church of Christ, was the speaker, and gave a very interesting address on "Sin and its cure." which he effectively illustrated with chemicals. ' At the close of each service new names weTe added to the school and I cradle roll*.
