FIGHTING IN RIDDIFORD PARK.
At Monday's Council meeting, Or. Mitchell reported that about 10 o 'clock last Friday evening a number of larrikins were found fighting in Riddiford Park and when tihe custodian (Mr. Edwards), inte"rferred he was attacked and received an injar yto his shotild-jr. He, however, succeeded in getting the assistance of the police and a proscention will follow. Council agreed thr.t the extreme penalty should be «sked for and that the borough solicitor, Mr. E. P. Bunny should be instructed to appear for Mr. Edwards.
