MEMBERS' DAY AT WAIMARIE.
Despite the inclemency of the w^eathsr the. Members' Day. held on Saturday, was a very enjoyable affair. Competitions were held^and a dainty afternoon tea was seryed in the Pavilion. At the commencement of the season Mrs. Norris (president) offered a trophy for competition among the committee, a little act that was greatly appreciated. Mrs!^Walker kindly donated a second prize *and during the af- ■ ternoon these trophies were presented, the suceessf vd competitors being Mrs. Taylor (winner) and Mrs. Kelly (run-ner-up). The winners' of competitions held in the afternoon were:-—Angles,■..' Mrs. Young j Iradder, Mrs Vaughan; Hoop, Mrs. Savage; Golf, Mrs W. Lees, French, Mrs Mouat; Squares, Mrs. Ex- | ton" The best score among B Grade players in all competitions was made;'j by Mrs Bedmond and she won th^ special prize donated by Mrs. Mouat. A beautiful basket made and presented by Mrs Wilfred Judd was won by Mrs j Boomdhill..
