A HOME MADE POLISH
Owner-drivers who enjoy making their own cleaning •mediums will find this tip useful for producing a really efficient polish, which is suitable for cleaning the leather upholstery of a car. Old was'candle ends should be saved and placed in a jar and when a sufficient number has been obtained an equal bulk of turpentine should. be added. The mixture should then be warmed until the wax melts, stirred thoroughly and poured in--to a flat tin» Care must be taken not to overheat the. turpentine. Upon cooling down the mixture will be set, making an excellent polish. An old boot polish tin can be used as a container, covered by its lid so as to keep the polish dean and in good condition by excluding air *v"<fr dust.
