MANY BECORDS BROKER.

Despite the very unfavourable weather conditions under which the Hutit Valley High School sports were held last Thursday, several records were broken. Although the grounds were looking at tSieir best, contestants had a heavy task in most of the races, against the very strong wind. Tihe sports attracted a large number of ■ ap^etatoTs,1 -who saw some iuteresitiiig finishes. The officials were members of the school staff and pupils iof the school. The long programme was got off promptly. Divring the afitemoon the visitors were served with afternoon tea. •■ '.
