Weekly cluib meetings were kedd every Monday evening during the season. No trophies were awarded for these meetings but points were allotted ! towards the various cluib cups. Small trophies were, however, awarded for the children's events each, week, and 'it is hoped that, tl^e small expenditure | incurred will be repaid in the future (by increased in«mbersMp. Championships. V The club was represented by a small team at tho Provincial Championships held at Petone on'the 4th of Febriiiary. The following memibers gained places:— Miss Kenc'it, 2nd 100 yards, ladies; R. Griffiths 2nd in Javelin, 3rd in. throwing the hammer and third in the discus. N\Z. Championship*. ■-■• ■ TheN.Z. Championships were held'at Wangantti on the 14th and 15th March, and the club was honoured by -having one representative (Miss T. Kench) in the Wellington Centre's team. Miss Kettefc. fully justified her inclusion in the team by winning tho 100 Yards 3ff.Z. -Ladies' Championship in tho fast time of 11 1-5 sec., equalling the present N.Z. record. , Miss Ken cli was also a'/niexolb'er of the Centre's re]ay.team which won tho Ladies' Belay Champions-hip.
