WEDDINGS.

,KOWE-~DRIEBERG. The wedding took place at Knox! Church on Saturday, of Florence Adeline, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Rowe, and William James Driefoerg, son of Mr. J. Drieberg, of Napier. The bride was attended by hex fatiaer, and her charming frock was of white mariette and lace with pearl girdle. She a also wore a veil and orange blossoms, arranged coronet fashion. Her bon<jueit was of freesias, twlips, sweet peas end maiden-hair fern. Her sister, Miss Myrtle Rowe, and Miss Hilda Haigh attended her, wearing frocks of floral green ehiffonette, in tones of pink and champagne, with green hats and shoes. Mr. L. Drieberg acted as best man, and Mr. M. Drieberg as groomsman. The Rev. J. MeCatw was the officiating minister and Mr. A. Ackroyd was at the organ. Afterwards some 90 guests were entertained by Mr and Mrs Rowe, ttae latter wearing a frock of brown crepe maroeain with bouquet to tone. Mrs. Driefoerg, the. bridegroom's mother, wore a frock of wine-coloured crepe marocain and bouquet in the same tones. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, wore'a charming frock of white embossed georgette made ankle-length, with long sleeves and drooping hem and trimmed with orange blossom. The monthly meeting of t&e Lower Hutt W.C.T.U. was held on Wednesday, October 22nd, with the President, Mrs. Anderson, in the chair, Mrs Lopdell taking the devotional portion of the meeting. Mrs Crawford read a paper 'on " Problems and work among the Maoris," as it was Maori Day and a.. collection was taken up in aid of the Maori fund.
