AUCTION SALE.
Messrs H. Ernest Leaghton, Ltd., auctioneers, report that the sale by auction conducted on behalf of the estate of the late Roibert Hannah under the instructions from the Puiblic Trustee, at Waterloo Eoad, on Friday last, had a large attendance of buyers and bidding was spirited. '
Cattle realised the following prices: Jersey cows in full nniik, dwe to calve June 1931, £8 and £10. S&orthorn cow £7, 4-year Jersey bull £1/10/-; Jersey cow at drop, £7.
Poultry realised the following prices: 1-year ducks, 7/-; drakes 4/-; ducks 4/-j. Black Spanish hens,- 6/j Plymouth Bocks 6/6; lyear Black Orpington 3/6; '1-year White Leghorn 5/6; 2^year White Leghorn 3/6; old hens 2/6; 1-year roosters 3/-; Turkey hen 12/-.
A large quantity of farm implements and household furniture "realised very satisfactory prices.
