DANCE AT CATHOLIC HALL.
r .The Catholic Hall at Waiwhetu was the 1 scene, on Thursday night, of a very jolly and successful dance.. The inte-rior doconation of the hall is most artistic and original, for tho walls are of a delicate pastel blue, the freeze and ceiling white and the plain wood-work and panelling form a pleasing -contrast. The comanittce was as follows: Mesdames Wilkinson, Collins, Fairtorother, McElllop, Wells, O'Connor, Garry, MeGarr, McDougdil, Weyburn and Misses McGinn, Perkinson (2), Oorkin (2); -Mulhaneand O'Oonnor and Messrs Wilkinson, Fletcher, O'Connor (secretary), PeTkinson and Manguin.. Mr. Minihan ; carried, out the duties of M.C, and the Maori Orchestra were in attendance. Oorkin^ cornflour crepedOJchene; Mailhane, flame georgette; Garry, bine georgette; M. Weyiburn, pink lace over silk; McGinn, black georgette and lace., J. •McNeil, black velvet; E. McNeil, 'lace over pink silk; I. Garry, pink lace over blue; N. Collins, black velvet;; M. McGraith, pink crepe-de-ciene, K. McGrath green georgette; Bolton, black netj S, Hunter, green net; E.
