WEDDING.

WELLS—FRANCES. A pretty wedding took pdaee at Knox Ohurch on Monday, October '20th when VeraT Constance, daughter of Mrs. and the laite Mr. J. B. Wells, was married to Cu-thbert Eiwyn Gunn, son of Mrs and the late Mr. M. T. Franecs. The bride *rfco entered the church, on. the arm of hex brother, Mr. J. Wells, •wore a charm ing frock of chantilly lace over pal© pink satin, made with long sleeves and dorible skirt. Her to&e, lace-edged veil •waa arranged with mantilla effect, and j fcer shoes were of pink satin with flesh coloured stockings. She carried a ehower bouquet of pink and white roses. Miss Kathleen Wells, her attendant, wore a frock of green chamtilly la<se over.green satin, made in similar style to that of the bride, and with it was worn a green and mauve crinoline hat. Her shoes weTe of green satin, with. stockings to tone and she carried a bowjuet of sweet peas. Mr. Ronald McGregor, of Napier, carried out the duties of best man. The Rev. J. tacCaw performed tie ceremony, and Mt. A, Ackroyd was the organist. Mrs. WeflJfl afterwards entertaised a few relations at her home, and wore a frock of floral Ting velvet in bronae a-nd red tones, with hat of navy pandan with ©spreye. Her bouquet harmonised with fcer frock. Mrs. Prances/ mother of the liridegxoom, wore ■ a frock of brown, naoire velvet with touches of lemon and fcmon ielt hat and he* bouquet Was in bron»e and lemon toaes. Mrs. Fran«es'B travelling fro«k was of autumn tin-ted floral crepe satin, with model hat to tone, and with it was worn a brown fur coat.
