"MIRTH-ELATED SPIRITS."
Wesley Hall was well filled on Monday night when the young people of the: Methodist Church, who have formed tiiemselves into a company teamed the "Mirth-Elated Spirits '' gav^ one of their popular entertainments, this time in aid of the Scouts' camping fund. The programme was as follpivvs: Opening •chorus by the party; piano^ forte solo, Miss- Phillips; soprano solo, Miss Robinson; elocutionary item* Miss V. Crawford; Bolsheviks-Russian 'chorus by fout of the ipaTty; contralto solo, by Miss M. Owarford; sketch, by imemfbers of the party; poi dance, Miss E. Saunders; concerted item, the party, sketch, memibers of party; dance, Missl;. M. Wakeline and J. Maiunder; pianofonte* solo, Miss Phillips; Sailor Suite: two choruses from "T&e Country Girl' soloists Miss M. Crawford and Mr. H. Hayes; elocutionary item, Miss B. Saunders; Hunting trio, by Messrs L. Hayes> L. Phillips and N"/ Sniith; baritone, Mr. E. Whitehead; Parsons of iPuddle (a sketch) by Messrs N". Smith, -Ir. PhillipiS, li. Hayes; fluite solo, Mr. B. Ballantyne; Closing chorus by the party. The entertainment closed. : with the singing of the National Anthem. To cleanse the hair of dust without washing, run the teeth of a comib through, a atrip of cotton wool and comb the &air thoroughly. Change the fcotton wool aa it becomes soiled.
