MICKY MOUSE MEETS RAB

THE CAT.

One day Mickey Mouse when ■out for a walk met Rab the Cat, who was very hungry. "Micky Mouse, I am so Hungry that I shall eat you all up," said Rab the Cat.

"Oh please, sir," said Mickey Mouse, shaking till he rattled his little green slippers, "oh please, sir, don't eat me up; I will bring you some cream instead —real *ream." ,

"Bring it at once then," said Rab the Cat, and he sat down to wait.

"I will come with you," said Tammas the Toad, "and we will go and ask Hetty the Hen about it, for she is very clever." So they went along to Hetty the Hen, who was watering the flowers in her garden. "Oh please, dear Hetty," said Mickey Mouse, ' cßab the Cat is going to eat me if I don't bring him some cream at once. Whatever shall I do?"

"Just wait a moment while I put on my little purplish hat," said/ Hetty the Hen, "and my coat with the fur on it, and we vtfll go and ask Muriel the Goat, ior she is very clever." They knocked at her door and she opened it and asked what they wanted, and when she heard their story she'said she would soon put that rights She took a pail of cream, waved her hands over it, and gave it to Muriel the Goat, who carried it very carefully as they all went along to find Bab the Cat. "Here is your cream," sai4 Mickey Mouse; "my friend Muriel is carrying it for me because it is so heavy. Will you promise first never to eat me upf" "Purr-rr, of coursfe I will,'' said "Rub the Cat.
