GRAND FANCY DRESS DANCE.

Th'c little folk turned up in lui'gc numbers and had a very merry time of it. Messrs Landsdowne, Hoarc, . Soames and Sutherland directed the dances and games and everything; went •with a swing from start to finish. Mr. and Mrs. J ; Hunt and Mr. and Mrs. Soames organised the dance and the supper .arrangements were in the eapaJble hands of Mrs. Crundwell. Mrs .Lavery, Mrs. Parry, Mrs Bankin and Mrs Hoare. A sweet and cake stall; plied a very brisk trade and was provided over by Mrs. Hughes and her daughter and the Misses Boyle. The 'following ladies comprised the eommit-|-tee:* Mrs-Burns, Mrs Abbott.. During the evening Mt Soacnes very heartily thanked all those who had worked so hard to make the evening a •success and said' that there were too many to be mentioned individually.
