SHANDON CLUB.

A faur ball best-ball bogey competi.tion was played on the 'Shandon links on Saturday. The best cards handed in were:—Hunter and Bowen, 4 up; Denz and Mclvor, all square; ;Butckey and MeCarroll 1 down; Russell and Hargreaves, 2 down; Frazer and Mackay 2 down; Fergie ansd Johansen, 4 down. In the final for the intermediate championship Mclvor beat McCarroll, 4 and 2. • SHANDON BEATS WATWETTJ. Shandon entertained its nearest neighbour, the Waiwetu club, over the week-end and the singles and f ovr-<ball matches played proved very enjoyable. In the singles Shandon won 11 games and Waiwetu 10 games. The first eight players mentioned ibelow played in the Watts Cup competition Shandon wining five points to Waiwetu four and a half points. . LADIES' GOLF. SHANDON CLUB. A keen game was contested on the Shandon links cm Saturday, when Mrs. Walker (mid-week club) defeated Mrs Fuller, 4 and 3 for the Sunflower Cop.
