I There was an enthusiastic meeting of tennis players at the Epuni Sc&ool on Tuesday evening when the Epuni Tennis Club was formed, Mr. Bousfield I occupying the chair. I The following officers were elected:-— I Patron, Mr. Geo. Dome; President, Mr:. J. D. Dick; Vice-presidents, Mrs. Miller, Messrs W. Manderson, J. BTassa', F. C. Pileher, E. Swaysland and W. Dyer. Club captain, Mr.dv Faur; Vice-captain, Mr. T. Newsome; Seci*etary and Treasurer, Miss Parsons. Committee : Mrs. Miller; Misses "Walker, Gorrie, Harris, Porter, Ensar; Messrs Bousfield, HaTris and Easdn. The membership subscription was fixed as follows—-G-entlemen 15/-, ladies 10/-, juniors 14 years to 16 years 5/limitedl
Various matters were discussed and motions carried, which point to a successful season to the new cluib.

Any tennis enthusiasts who are keen on .joining the club aTe requested to hand in their names to the secretary or members of the committee.
Tire court is to be put into first-class order during the next few days and an opening day decided on,at a 'lfater meet* ing of the committee.
