YOUTH MOVEMENT AGAINST ALCOHOL.
LOWER HUTT BRANCH
The fourth general meeting of the above society was held on Sunday in St. Stephen 's Church. Mr. C. R. Russell, the president, chaired the meeting, and Mr. SpTatt, chairman of the New Zealand Alliance, gave an interesting and enlightening address, and answered many questions, j The meeting closed with a hymn and prayer, and then dispersed for tea, which was served in the Bible Class Hall. Mr. L. Heyes proposed a hearty vote of thanks to the speaker. A community sing was then enjoyed by those present, and a trio from, tfco Methodist Church, Mrs. L. TuTner and Messrs Potter, rendered an instrumental item. The next meeting of the Movement takes place in the Miethodist Church on November 2nd, and is to take the form,of an address by the Rev. J. K. Blanchard of St. John's Presbyterian Church, Wellington.
