WEDDING.

BRADLEY—SCOTT,

The wedding took place, on August. 2?jvd, at St. James Ts Church, of Margaret/ daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J." BradlO}', of Lower Hutt, to Leslie George, son' of Mr. and Mrs. G. G. Scott, of Lower Hutt. The bride was esearted by her father, and A\ ras gowned in a charming frock of white satin and georgette, ankle-length, and trimmed with silver. She also wore a veil .and orange blossom. Site carried a ■dainty bouquet - of Iceland poppies, frcesias, pink sweet peas and maidenhair fern. Miss .Pat Tasker, her cousin, whose frock was of flame and white floral taffeta, with flame hat and shoes to tone, and her,-bouquet was of autumn tinted flowers and foliage. The bridegroom was attended by Mi-. Keith Fear, of Island Bay, as best man and the Yen. Archdeacon Hansell was the officiating clergyman and Miss Harte was at the organ. A roeeption .afterwards took place at Tua RuaHa.ll where there were over a hundred and forty guests. . Mrs. Bradley received her guests in a frock of navy bhie celauese. Her bonquet was of violets •.and polyanthus and -hat to tone. The bridegroom's mother, Mrs. Scott wore a fawn and blue ensemble, with fawn and blue hat, and she carried an jvutumn-tinted/ bouquet. The wedding cake was beautifully decorated by MiAdams, foreman of I>ixon Bros.. Tfte taibles wiere very prettily decoTated Trith red birch a,nd spring flowers. Mr. Lang then proposed the health of the bride and groom, Mr. Lamberg that of the /bride's parents, and Mr Dunean (Wellington) proposed t;he health of the bridegroom's parents and the best1 man, Mr. Fear, propovsed the bridesmaid's health. Mr. and Mrs. Scott ; each received gifts, from their fellow employees, thie bride receiving an artistic tea and coffee service from Mrs. Burkes dress-making firm,; Wellington, while the bridegroom's fellowemployees at General Motors presented him with a clock. After the reception the bride and bridegroom left for the South Island, the bride wearing a navy >blue costume and sable furs, with navy Bangkok hat.
