CHILDREN'S FANCY DRESS BALL

NEXT PSIDAY AT 7.30 P.M. Preparations are' steadily progressing for the children's fancy dress ball, which takes place at the Regent ballroom on Priday next, commencing at 7 pan. Organised by the Levin School Jubilee Committee, the function should prove a happy culmination to the weeks of work and planning that usually precede such an event. Excellent prizes are offered for the various classes, which are as follows:—Up to (3 years; 7to 10 years; llto 14 years; prizes for prettiest, most original and cheapest dress for boy and girl in each class; best poster dress, boy or girl up to 14 years; best pair; most original boy and girl; and best pair over 14 years. Dancing for the children vvill be from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., and following this the adults will continue until a later hour. The Grand March is scheduled for 7.30 p.m. Novelty dances will contribute to create a spirit of festivity, and, whether adult or child, in fancy costume or otherwise, a happy time can be assured all who attend.
