Following anonymous threats received at a nearby R.A.F. airport a Dig blaze at an Army ordnance depot near Nottingham last nigfct destroyed hundreds of light motor vehicles and tyres. The depot is one of the chief distributing centres of Army cars.

CONTRADICTION NO VEHICLES DAMAGED Received Thursday, 12.50 a.m. LONDON, May 10. Petrol tanks burst and one big shed was destroyed when the Army ordnance store was burned. Another was saved. It is officially' stated that no vehicles were damaged,, while a large number of tyres were saved.
