COURT OFFICERS PROMOTED.

LIST OF APPOINTMENTS (By Telegraph— Press Association.") WELLINGTON, Last Night. Promotions among Court officers consequent upon recent retirements were 'announced by Mr. T. Mark, Public Service Commissioner, to-day.

Mr." G. tS. Clark, Registrar of tke Supreme Court at Hamilton, has been appointed Registrar of the Supreme - Court at Wellington in plaice of Mr. W. W. Samson who is retiring at the end of this month. Mr. E. G. Rhodes, , Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court at Wellington, is to be Registrar of the Supreme Court at Gisborne. Mr. P. D. Leahy, Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court at Christchurch, Is to be Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court at Wellington. Mr. A. E. Reynolds, clerk of the MagistrateSs Court at Wellington, is to be Registrar of the Supreme Court at Hamilton. Mr. J. T. A. Beaumont, clerk of the .Supreme Court at Wellington, is to be second clerk and Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court at Palmerston North. Mr. A. L. Tresidder, Registrar of the Supreme Court at Nelson, is to be clerk of the Magistrate’s Court at Wellington. Mr. A. J. Bennetts, second clerk of the Magistrate’s Court at Christchurch, is to be Registrar of the Supreme Court at Blenheim. Mr. W. Parker, Registrar of the Supreme Court at Westport, is to be Registrar of the Supreme Court at Nelson. Air. C. O. Pratt, clerk of the Magistrate’s Court at Hawera, is to be Registrar of the Supreme Court at Wanganui. Mr. A. R. C. Claridge, second clerk.of the Magistrate’s Court and Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court at Palmerston North, is to be clerk of the Magistrate’s Court at Hawera. Air. F. S. R. Knight, clerk of the Alagistrate’s Court- and acting-Registrar of the .Supreme Court at Auckland, is to be Registrar of the Supreme Court at Auckland. Air. H. V. Jerred, deputy clerk of the Alagistrate’s Court at Auckland, is to be clerk of the Alagistrate’s Court at Auckland. Air. T. P. Pain Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court at Dunedin, is to be Registrar of the Supreme Court at vVhangarei. Air. W. J. Blacker, clerk of Courts at Gore, is to be Registrar of the Supreme Court at Westport. Air. J. J. W. Pooley, clerk of Courts at Ashburton, is to be clerk of Courts at Gore. Air. A. E.
